Strength training is the answer, no matter the question, because the stronger your body, the more it can enjoy and endure. Athletes who strength train see significant gains in performance and speed while also greatly reducing the risk of injury. Society has become very sedentary over the last 100 years or more. Sitting in itself makes you very weak. Everyone of us sits a large majority of our day, even if we are athletes, because its part of our modern lives. Strength training can greatly improve your health by strengthening all the muscles that get weak as a result of sitting. Time is something we all want more of. I use the Total Gym because I know no matter how little time I have, I know its working because I see the results. The Total Gym works several body parts all at once. I can do cardio too, and in a variety of ways, even swim training, on the Total Gym. I love my Total Gym and highly recommend it. Try Total Gym to feel fit forever. #feelfitforever
Hot spicy chili that makes you sweat is a great way to help keep your immune system working at its best especially during cold and flu season. Spicy foods have the ability to make your immune system even stronger. If you’re like me and love spicy foods, incorporating them into your diet is easy. Try crushed red pepper flakes on your omelet or other favorites. Spicy foods can also help you recover from a cold sooner too and make you feel better when you are sick by making you feel more clear and not as congested. Today, I made crockpot vegetarian chili and it smells so good and tastes even better! It’s so spicy hot that it made me sweat! I love it! It’s a great way to feed your hunger and fight germs to feel fit forever. #feelfitforever

Macaroons are one of my favorite treats! These are so easy to make, with only 3 ingredients, and are extra delicious and nutritious. Plus, they are gluten free. Gluten is responsible for many medical issues and is becoming more widely known as the culprit behind many ailments. More on gluten and its possible side effects another time, but for now here is the easy 3 ingredient recipe: 2 eggs, 1/2 cup coconut flour, and bag of coconut chips as shown below. These chips are great on their own too! Or as a topping on salad or veggies or fruit. For this recipe, grind up the coconut chips in the Vitamix until smooth, then mix in other 2 ingredients above and roll into balls and bake at 350 till done, about 20 minutes depending on the size of the balls. These freeze beautifully if stored in an airtight container, so get ahead on the holidays and start baking. Also please note that these are the consistency of a donut-hole, so if you prefer it less cake-like, please use less flour. This simple delicious recipe couldn’t be easier and the coconut flakes come already sweetened with awesome goodness. Enjoy a treat once in a while, or sometimes more often, to feel fit forever.

These tasty energy balls, disguised as cookies, really do the trick before, after or during your long run or, anytime you want a delicious treat that is loaded with goodness. These are packed with nutrients, protein, fiber and carbohydrates to not only keep you going, but recover properly, so that you will feel your best and look your best. And as a bonus, I added some caffeine, in the way of unsweetened cocoa powder, for a nice little kick. These special treats are easy to make, and they freeze beautifully, so there’s no reason not to make them your “go to treat-cheat” when you need to eat healthy, fuel and repair your body. You really can have the best of both worlds.
The Recipe is flexible, because you can switch out and put things you like, or have on hand, but I used the following : 2 eggs, 2 cups oats, 1/2 cup each of local honey and shredded unsweetened coconut, splash of coconut almond unsweetened milk, 1 tbp. Each of cinnamon, unsweetened cocoa powder and vanilla extract, then 2 cups whole measured pecans but then Vitamix them to mostly smooth. Bake 350 till a little crisp approximately 30 minutes depending on size of ball and consistency you like. Its important to have protein and a mix of many different seeds and nuts, so I try to include them in just about anything I eat. They add a delicious flavor and texture too, but its the many health benefits that you will see over time when you add nuts and seeds to your diet. Enjoy and eat healthy every day to #feelfitforever
