Everyone has their own mantras that will work for them, but if you need any ideas, here are a couple I like: For Running: “Suck it up Buttercup” and for Faith: “I Can Do All Things Through Christ who strengthens me, thank you for all my many blessings” But no matter what you are doing, its always better with good self talk. For example, if you are going to sit down to take a 4 hour exam, you will absolutely do better if you have positive self talk. Your thoughts have to propel you in the direction of your goal. Whenever other thoughts try to slip in, because they always will, and they will keep trying to take over your thoughts, you must focus on what you want your end result to be. Be goal driven and start with your thoughts.
